Real estate investment in Residential Sector Surge by 104 percent in India
Private equity (PE) investment in Indian real estate reached USD 4.2 Billion in 2024. Out of this total investment in real estate sector, residential real estate bagged the most of investment with a surge of 104 percent in PE investment
The residential sector attracted a large investment from the investors. The investment in the residential sector almost doubled reaching USD 1.2 Billion compared to 2023. Metro cities like Mumbai, Bengaluru and Delhi-NCR are among the most preferred locations for the investors.
